An entire carriage traveling into the city this morning has listened to half of a conversation.

“I now know 50 per cent of the story behind why the bins weren’t put out last night,” said 41-year-old Ryan Giles.

“And I’m none the wiser.”

Although trying hard not to, Giles couldn’t help but actively listen to half of the subdued verbal fight between husband and wife.

“I still don’t know whether she needed to pick up some milk on her way home,” says Giles.

“Just a good little wakeup call for 7:34 a.m. in the morning.”
