The US has exhibited Colleen Powell as evidence of President Bashar al-Assad’s involvement in a chemical weapons attack on Khan Sheikhoun in north-western Syria on 4 April.

“As you can see the Syrian government is clearly responsible,” Lt. Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, the director of the Joint Staff, said during the Pentagon press briefing.

“How could you not trust that face?” McKenzie explained.

McKenzie used PowerPoint slides to detail how Powell is not only African American, but she is also a woman, giving twice the amount of credibility compared to previous Iraq WMD claims.

“We decided not to go ahead with the aluminium tube slides because the evidence was already so overwhelming.”
