A local man has been reminiscing about the good old days when he didn’t have to think before going shopping.
“No more plastic bags means I’ll actually have to think about methods in which goods can be transported,” says 37-year-old Simon Benson.
Benson believes his fundamental freedoms as a human are slowly being destroyed, saying it’s hard enough choosing from “an assortment of exotic shampoo fragrances”.
“Now I’m being forced into thinking about how to carry things.”
“Also, people will be lugging bags around the supermarket with dirt and cat faeces spread all over them – it’s disgusting.”
Benson was later spotted abusing an employee on a minimum wage at Woolworths.
