Australian Conservatives senator Cory Bernardi says people must be sacked because he has been offended by an ABC comedy sketch.
“My party was called a ‘c***’, this is awful, I won’t be able to sleep at night,” Bernadi told 2GB radio host Ray Hadley.
“This insulting discriminatory use of the c-word must end.”
Bernadi is now claiming “heads must roll” at the ABC.
“I think someone needs to lose their job over it, because it’s not like these things go to air without being pre-screened,” he said.
“Surely, they knew people’s feelings were going to be hurt.”
“I don’t think that sort of language is an appropriate thing on TV at any time.”
Bernadi has demanded ABC managing director Michelle Guthrie make a sincere apology.
“It must be heartfelt or I just can’t accept it.”
“I’ve even started eating whole tubs of ice-cream and cranking myself to sleep, I can’t take it anymore.”
