Australia will introduce a policy to ban single-use prime ministers, the government has announced.
Political parties in the country will be given two months to stop providing disposable PMs.
“Every decade in Australia we use several single-use prime ministers. These politicians, many of which end up polluting our precious electorates, cause serious harm to all kinds of life,” says Woolworths CEO Phil Downing.
“Single-use prime ministers are killing off turnips and potatoes at alarming rates.”
Onions, however, are thriving.
Voters have welcomed the ban but remain cautious of a backflip.
Thicker ministers will be supplied for free until the ban is fully implemented.
